Located just across the river from our little house in Morningside, the Allegheny RiverTrail Park is one of our favorite little slices of Pittsburgh. With an overgrown post-industrial setting and waterfront access, the park is a physical representation of the merger of our two lives.

The park features several amenities:

A spacious open-air warehouse for dining and dancing
A riverfront bar serving tropical cocktails and oysters
Access to the Allegheny River, including a public dock
A large playground for those bringing children
Plenty of green space for activities and walking trails to explore

Whether it’s your first time visiting Pittsburgh or a grand reentry, we can’t wait to share our wonderful jumble of hills and bridges with you. Here are a few details to help you plan your trip.
